Also, please pray for an upcoming Haiti trip.  From May 27th to June 2nd,  Jon will travel to a rural area in Haiti with his good friend Dr. Ben Fredrick from Penn State Hershey Medical Center.  Ben directs the global health center at PSHMC and has been the catalyst and driving force behind a community health worker program that has been ongoing over the last few years in Pestel, Haiti.  His blog is called Haiti Medical at http://haitimedical.blogspot.com

Ben travels to Haiti two or three times a year, and this trip Jon will accompany him as they work with the village health workers on various phases of a nutrition/vitamin A/ worm medicine/health survey campaign among numerous villages in the area.

Pray for safety in travel, good health and stamina, clear communication with the Haitian co-workers, and that the health workers will catch on well to a PDA/computer based health survey model.
