Dear Family and Friends,
As I’m sure you’ve seen in the news, Turkey was hit by two major earthquakes on February 6th. One of our pastors from our home church in the US, who used to work there, and continues to have contacts and connections, asked if I’d be able to join him and a team next week for a short term trip to help with the ongoing relief efforts. So I’ll be taking a few vacation days with AIM, and join a GHNI short term team to the earthquake zone to offer help from February 21st to March 1st. Please pray for safety, stamina, the Lord’s hand upon us, unity as a team, opportunities to offer comfort and hope in the Lord, and a willingness to just jump in and help with whatever expertise we can offer. Melissa will cover the unit leader role for me back here in TZ while I’m gone.
