Dear Family and Friends,

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’”  Luke 2:10-11

Bringing you Christmas greetings from our family to yours!  We are enjoying having Rachel with us here in Arusha during her December school break.  It’s been warm and rainy here, which we are very thankful for because of drought conditions in some parts of TZ.  During the break we’ve enjoyed a wonderful missionary conference, a farewell party for Gideon and Rose in Kondoa, some fun bush driving, games with Rachel, volleyball with friends, a birding outing, and an amazing wedding of friends of ours in Nairobi.   Drew flew from Texas to Pennsylvania, so is with Josh on school break.  They are enjoying some brother-time and stretching their independent legs staying at our home church’s mission house together. They will be celebrating Christmas with grandparents and other family members this weekend.  Pray for Drew as he takes his written FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test today.

May you experience the wonder of Jesus’ Incarnation afresh this season, as we contemplate His coming to earth to fulfill all righteousness and to be our Savior, our Substitute, our Lamb of God who takes away our sins through His death and resurrection.  Let Him reign in your hearts afresh as Lord as we worship the King of Kings born in a manger!
