Dear Family and Friends,

Had a good laugh with the team today here at the health center. I saw one of the eye surgery patients from three weeks ago in follow up today. Prior to his cataract surgery he was blind, but the day after he had his left eye cataract removed and a new lens placed, he looked down and noticed that the shoes his family put on him for the trip to Magambua didn’t match! So he was complaining about how if he had been seeing he wouldn’t have worn those shoes.
So today he came back with a big grin on his face, seeing and walking confidently, and exclaimed to us “Look, see how my shoes match today!”. He was very grateful for the surgery that allowed him to see again! Thanks again Dr. Savage.
