Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for your generosity over the last month and a half towards our famine relief efforts. We now have enough funding to buy at least another 80 sacks of maize, maybe a little more depending on what the final September donation statement says.

That puts us at a total of at least 130 sacks of maize. So we have now SURPASSED OUR GOAL of 100 gunny sacks, and are not in need of any more funding for this project.

Any funds that have already come in that are earmarked for famine relief will be used for that purpose, and over the next month I’ll keep you up to date as to the final number of gunny sacks we collect.

We thank the Lord for His provision of this food through you for needy villagers here. Thank you for being willing to be used by the Lord for this effort.
