Since the West Lawn Church team was here, progress on the new ward has continued to move forward slowly but surely! They completed the roof and flooring over the new MCH Pavilion that sits between the new ward and the existing dispensary building. This area has a new small room for the gas fridge that holds the vaccines, and the pavilion will be a great space for us to run immunization clinics at the health center. They have also nearly completed a ‘shower house/wash facility’ for inpatients. A mortuary is in the plans as well. We’re thankful for the funds that the WLUMC raised for the new ward and these related buildings.

Praise the Lord also for the generosity of the Vacation Bible School at Hershey Evangelical Free Church, who raised money this summer for new beds to be built for the new ward rooms!
